The play is a comprehensive, multiple-view account of an event about which much information was omitted in media coverage. The show incorporated a sound-scape by Nitin Sawhney, and an art installation by the artists Lucy and Jorge Orta, on view as an exhibition during the daytimes for the run of the show. For more information on the play, and forthcoming projects by the writer and director, Jonathan Holmes, see and for more photos: review extracts “Informative, courageous, and a moral tonic for the conscience” The Sunday Times “A devastating new piece of documentary theatre” The Daily Telegraph “A really powerful document” Peter Brook “Brilliant cutting edge theatre. An exceptional audience experience" Jon Snow “an amazing text” Ariel Dorfman “I found Fallujah both immensely disturbing and moving, a piece of living history with the tragic shape of a Greek tragedy. Yet like one of those plays it was so clearly avoidable. But unlike them, it was no fiction, it was all too real. And the tragedy is all of ours to share. It is a warning that must be heard” Roger Graef “Not to be missed, immensely powerful" Alan Rickman “Intense and important work. Groundbreaking stuff” Joanna Lumley “Fantastic; really, really, impressive” Penny Woolcock
